Dr. Joe Libby is the new principal of both Fair Oaks and Phillips middle schools.  Coming from a family of teachers, Libby received his undergraduate degree in elementary education from Iowa State University.

Fort Dodge's ACT scores at both the public and Catholic schools are higher than the state average.  Iowa's average ACT score is 22.3. Fort Dodge Senior High scored an average 22.5.
