District Listservs

For all listservs below, the email address is:   .......@list.fort-dodge.k12.ia.us

Some listservs are "private" and cannot be joined by the process below.  If you have questions, contact Jeremy Pearson:   jpearson@fort-dodge.k12.ia.us

NOTE:  You cannot perform the procedure below for anyone else.  The system records the email address of the person who sends this email, so a user has to make this request from his/her own email account.

To be added to an open listserv:
Send an e-mail to:    imailsrv@list.fort-dodge.k12.ia.us    
with the following:
1.   no subject
2.   a one-line body message including the following 4 information items (just type all these
      items straight across, with single spaces between each item and without the quotation
      marks):

"subscribe" "list name (see below)" "your first name" "your last name"

Example:  to join the "Art" listserv would be:

          subscribe art John Doe

To be deleted from an open listserv:
Send an e-mail to:    imailsrv@list.fort-dodge.k12.ia.us
with the following:
1.   no subject
2.   a one-line body message including the following 4 information items (just type all these
      items straight across, with single spaces between each item and without the quotation
      marks):

"unsubscribe" "list name (see below)" "your first name" "your last name"

Example:  to remove yourself from the "Art" listserv would be:

          unsubscribe art John Doe
